Denver's RTD Board Approves 130-Room Hotel at Union Station

Printer-friendly version

Denver’s Regional Transportation District (RTD) board has approved plans for redeveloping Denver's Union Station with a new 130-room hotel. The hotel will be affiliated with the 80-room, historic Oxford Hotel, which is located across the street and run by Sage Hospitality. The hotel is projected to open in the spring 2014.

In addition to the new hotel, the redeveloped station will feature retail and restaurants developed by the same group that runs Denver’s Larimer Square, home to some of the city’s top eateries including Bistro Vendome, Capitol Grille, Osteria Marco, Ocean Prime, Rioja and TAG, as well as some of the city’s one-of-a-kind boutiques.
