The Ritz-Carlton Denver's Executive Chef Justin Fields has created a pop-up restaurant series for the summer season based on Fields' rescent travels and love for international cinema.
Now through September, this monthly Saturday event will identify a country, and drawing from the expertise of Fields' creative culinary team and design specialists, will transform The Plaza into a dream destination. Starting at 5:30 p.m., the evening will feature a four-course menu with pairings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. followed by a foreign film projected under the night sky, presented a special gift to remember the evening.
"Creating a pop-up restaurant concept has been a goal of mine for some time," shared Chef Fields, "But while planning my summer trip to Europe, I was reminded of how their celebration of all artistic expression is magnified during summer - epicurean, cinematic, wine-making - and what a perfect way to bring that to the gorgeous Mile High city."
The kick off event on June 30 will feature a showing of Fellini’s 1960 film, La Dolce Vita following an Italian dinner. July’s dinner will be French-inspired and paired with the classic thriller, La Femme Nikita. Come August, guests will enjoy a Spanish themed menu celebrating tapas cuisine and molecular gastronomy. September will honor Americana with a theme featuring modern upscale variations on outdoor BBQ.
Reservations for the limited engagement, 30-seat event are $125 per person.
