Rocky Mountain Connections Announces Five New Staffers

Aspen-based Rocky Mountain Connections has announced the addition of five professionals to its staff. Rocky Mountain Connections now has more 22 staff in six offices throughout three states.

"We have been fortunate to experience increase in business even during the economic downturn," stated Rocky Mountain Connections President, Nathan Boyd. "And as the economy turns around, we need to expand to handle increased demand in corporate and incentive meetings."

Following are the new members of Rocky Mountain Connections team:

Paul Menter has been named chief financial officer for Rocky Mountain Connections. Menter has a long career in government and non-profits, most recently as finance director for Aspen Community Foundation. Previously he was City of Aspen director of finance for more than five years, managing a budget of more than $100 million. Menter received his Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University and a B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University.

A seasoned sales professional, Laura West brings more than 25 years hospitality sales and management experience to Rocky Mountain Connections. West relocated from California to Park City to assume the position of regional director of sales. Presently the marketing director for Aegis Living, West was previously national sales manager for ACCESS Destination Services for five years and held senior sales positions for Le Meridien Beverly Hills and Anaheim Hilton. West attended Mesa College San Diego and the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. She is a member of ADME, MPI, FICP and HSMAI.

Jack Kimball, sr. operations manager in the Park City Office, joins Rocky Mountain Connections after more than 13 years holding diverse positions at ACCESS Destination Services in Palm Desert, California, The Party Staff in Beverly Hills, and the Sonesta Sanibel Harbour Resort in Ft. Myers, Florida. He completed the Professional Development Program in Hotel Management with Sonesta International Hotels. Kimball attended Cornell Hotel School in Ithaca, New York.

Jennifer Elizabeth Adams joins Rocky Mountain Connections from The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan, Puerto Rico where she was meetings & special events manager for a 400 room hotel. She also was catering sales manager and Club Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. She began her hotel career at Laguna Cliffs Marriot Resort in Dana Point, CA and also worked at the Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, CA.

Jillian Livingston joins Rocky Mountain Connections with a 15 year career managing events in Los Angeles and Denver. She has been nominated for four years for the industry’s most prestigious ICON award and also has been inducted into the Colorado Meetings + Events Hall of Fame for "Up & Coming Supplier". Previously, she was the sr. event designer for Epicurean Catering and beverage manager for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Livingston worked with the renowned Standard Hotel in Los Angeles as catering & events manager and f&b manager.

Rocky Mountain Connections destination services include planning and executing themed events, arranging team-building activities, organizing hotel reservations and ground transportation and providing VIP services and more.
