• McNair Named Director of Business Development at Viceroy Snowmass

Viceroy Snowmass recently hired Danielle McNair as director of business development for their sales professional team.

“Being the director is actually very similar to my previous sales leader role because much of what I do still relates to hotel sales,” said McNair.

As the lead member of the sales team, McNair is responsible for generating new business leads and revenue streams in the association, corporate meetings and incentives sectors.

McNair anticipates these tasks will position her to be a better representative for the Snowmass community. She said, “The community is changing. There are many new developments and growth opportunities!”

Some developments include managing key accounts throughout the U.S. and building strong relationships with contacts to firmly establish the Viceroy as the premier mountain location for all meetings and events.

With over 20 years in the hospitality industry, McNair brings strong industry relations and a deep knowledge of mountain resort hospitality space.

McNair shared the origins of her vocational skill set. “Years ago, I knew I wanted adventure, and I knew I wanted to go into destination marketing,” said McNair. “I grew up in Georgia, made the most of it, but yearned to go somewhere new.”

Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia, where she also majored in Advertising.

McNair continued, “After graduating from college, I interviewed with several venues in the Rockies, and as a result I am still working in the most beautiful part of the world!”

McNair has been active on a local and national level in various industry organizations throughout her career, including Destination Colorado, CSAE, MPI, SITE, GMIC and HSMAI. She most recently served as Director of Sales and Business Development for AlliedPRA.

“My in-depth destination sales experience from previous positions shows I already have a great understanding of these mountain-range communities,” said McNair. “Therefore, I can develop deeper interpersonal and business relationships with other leaders across the state.”

In her new role, McNair hopes to better support her family both monetarily and relationally. “I want to establish healthy habits outside of work because it is those habits that will actually help me grow professionally alongside a strong team that will contribute to the success of Snowmass,” concluded McNair. With that said - athletic training, cooking, watching football, and spending time in the mountains with family are McNair’s favorite pastime activities.

The Ritz-Carlton, Denver has announced Tabish Siddiquie as its new General Manager. Over 20 years, Siddiquie has honed his hospitality skills around the world and will now oversee daily operations for the hotel’s various divisions. He will head finance, sales and marketing, meetings and events, guestrooms, and the property’s prominent outlets ELWAY’S Downtown and The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Denver.
