It’s true that when attendees partake in exciting activities outside of the designated meeting times, they are much more likely to remember what they talked about during the actual meeting. Whether that means experiencing the great outdoors, or taking time to explore the meeting venue, benefits to breaking up a day of meetings with outside activities are vast and there’s no better place to do that then at the Stanley Hotel.

Endless Team-Building Opportunities

With Rocky Mountain National Park located in the Stanley Hotel’s backyard, the opportunity to indulge in outdoor activities could not be closer. Fishing, camping, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, and more are all available just minutes away.

The Stanley Hotel has teamed up with Kent Mountain Adventure Center this summer and created the ultimate way to stay and play in Rocky Mountain National Park. Five different adventure packages allow for groups of different experience levels to enjoy all that the mountains have to offer. Packages range from a taste of rock climbing and repelling for beginners, to overnight cliff camping for the experts, all led by the renowned Colorado rock climbing outfitter.

Liven Up Your Experience

Treat your guests to a live musical performance without ever leaving the meeting venue. The Stanley Hotel offers Stanley Live, hosted in the hotel’s Stanley Concert Hall. The intimate venue allows up to 340 guest to enjoy musical performances a few times a year. Take a look at the event calendar and schedule your meeting around one of these concerts for a one-in-a-lifetime experience. The Stanley Hotel even offers package plans that include accommodations, dining, tickets and off-site events for easy planning.

Embrace the Venue

The Stanley Hotel offers a variety of unforgettable experience to help guests recall those meeting notes far into the future. Two hotel tours are available to visitors year round: The Stanley Tour and the Night Spirit Tour. The Stanley Tour, takes place during the day and focuses on the hotel’s history with nods to its pop culture past including Stephen King and The Shining. The Night Tour introduces guests to the “active” phenomena and spirit folklore associated with this 100-year-old hotel.

Memorable meeting venues also help to ensure content is not lost after everyone returns to the office. The Pavilion at Stanley Hotel is Northern Colorado’s newest event space and offers unforgettable views of Long’s Peak and Rocky Mountain National Park. Meet in the 250-seat, glass-door auditorium or gather in over 8,000 square feet of banquet space complete with a private pond. By combining the FO Stanley architectural heritage with the newest design innovations and technology, the Pavilion is a venue that’s hard to forget.

Meetings today must be fun and memorable and have little resemblance to the old-style format.
