Denver Brings in Record Number of Tourists in 2017

Welcoming a record of 17.4 million overnight visitors in 2017, Denver is becoming a popular meeting spot. According to a Longwoods International Annual Visitor Profile Study, this year alone, revenue from Denver’s tourism industry increased five percent from 2016 making it a desirable destination. With an increase in tourists come overnight business travelers as well. Visitors are attracted to Denver’s charm and entertainment opportunities.

Along with over 18,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, Embassy Suites by Hilton in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, offers the Grain & Cane “Gastro Truck” as a fun option for a mid-meeting break or post-event dining option.

New Meeting Spaces and Restaurant Included in Renaissance Denver Stapleton Hotel's $15 Million Renovation

The Renaissance Denver Stapleton Hotel recently announced the conclusion of a top-to-bottom, $15 million renovation. Overseen by SANDdesign, the renovation began in April 2017 and debuted a “Grand Re-Imagined Event” on Thursday, May 8. The revamp included all of the hotel’s 400 guest rooms, 40,000 square feet of meeting spaces and a new restaurant called the Fifty300.

To give guests a top-of-the-line meeting and events experience, Lion Square Lodge, managed by Wyndham Vacation Rentals, has announced the start of a $1.25 million renovation of its meeting space. The project will include significant upgrades and design enhancements that embrace the property’s rustic lodge atmosphere and stunning surrounding scenery.
