• The Westin Riverfront honored at Top Wellness Center by Green Spa Network

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa Avon, Vail Valley has recently announced that Spa Anjali has been honored by the Green Spa Network as a Top Wellness Center in the 2017 GSN Sustainability Awards. In addition to this announcement, the spa has earned many industry awards, including being named one of the “Top 25 U.S. Spas” by Conde Nast Traveler.

In its 6th annual celebration of Sustainability Awards, the Green Spa Network recognizes innovation and leadership in the spa industry that are in support of a vital planet and the collective contributions to a more sustainable future.

Spa Anjali features 27,000 square feet of wellness space, with a 14-room spa that offers an extensive treatment menu that focuses on the three healing mountain traditions: The Rockies, Alps, and Himalayas. Some popular treatments include the Chakra Blessings, a collection of ancient rituals that help clear negativity, balance energy and create an optimal state of well-being.

Spa Anjali is dedicated to keeping its guests and staff healthy and balanced, using only organic and natural treatment products and sources. Guests of the spa can enjoy the 25-yard saline swimming pool, three infinity hot tubs, more than 60 group exercise classes weekly at the Athletic Club, including Master’s Swim, Vinyasa Yoga, AlReal Yoga, Pilates Reformer, and more. The club also hosts extensive wellness programming that includes nutritional lectures led by professional athletes.

The Westin Riverfront offers 230 luxurious guest residences, ranging in size from studio suites to 3-bedroom condominiums, with a custom kitchen, five-piece bathroom, gas fireplaces, and Westin Heavenly Bed. The resort has direct access to Beaver Creek Mountain via the Riverfront Express Gondola, as well as Ski Valet service, a Westin Family Kids Club and Maya, and a modern Mexican kitchen by Chef Richard Sandoval.

The Meetings Industry Council (MIC) hosted 1,210 attendees at the Colorado Convention Center for the 18th Annual MIC Conference & Trade Show on March 13 and 14, 2018.

The first day of the conference included a deep dive risk management workshop for meeting professionals facilitated by Brenda Rivers from Andavo Meetings.

There was also an educational session on creating authentic, memorable and impactful event experiences, moderated by Greg Bogue, vice president of experience design from Maritz Global Events.

 

Set against the backdrop of Longs Peak and Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado’s newest destination event venue The Pavilion at The Stanley Hotel announced the opening of their $10 million-dollar building. The Pavilion offers a modern retreat atmosphere for exclusive corporate and wedding clientele.

 

Westgate Park City Resort & Spa recently completed a multimillion dollar renovation project to better serve and facilitate group meetings and events.

The project included a new outdoor event deck, upgraded meeting space, coffee bar, banquet kitchen and executive boardroom.
