After 12 years of serving as editor of Colorado Meetings + Events, one of the main things I’ve discovered is that the meetings and events industry in the Centennial State is generous. If a colleague in the industry becomes ill or experiences a devastating loss, people step forward. If there is a worthy cause to be part of, venues, staff and creative resources are available to assist. Two of the latest examples are from lodging properties representing mountains and cities.

Antlers at Vail hired Kim Rediker as the new assistant general manager. Rediker will replace former assistant general manager Magda King, who was promoted to general manager after Rob LeVine’s retirement.
Rediker has lived in Vail since 1992 and has experience working in Vail hospitality at places like Simba Run Resort, the Inn & Suites at Riverwalk and Tivoli Lodge.
Rob LeVine, the general manager of Antlers at Vail, has retired from his 29-year tenure at the hotel. In his honor, they have renamed the conference center after him.
“After all the many wonderful and gratifying experiences that I've enjoyed in the hospitality industry over the years, none outweighs the incredible honor of having the Antlers meeting facility bearing my name,” says LeVine. “Very simply, I am fortunate beyond words.”
