The Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown To Undergo Renovations

In early 2017, the Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown will begin remodeling; it is expected to finish in early April. The multimillion-dollar revamp will include updates to the lobby and meeting spaces. The design will have a modern vintage feel while staying true to the rich history of the building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Creative Uses of Art for Tickets & Venues

I’m a big fan of partnering, art and skiing, so when I saw the trio mentioned all together, it caught my attention! Aspen Art Museum and Aspen Skiing Company offer great venues and activity options for groups, and, for the past 11 years, they have teamed up to produce beautiful lift tickets like those for the 2016/2017 ski season that feature 11 different images from Los Angeles-based contemporary artist Laura Owen.

Put Private Dining in the Palm of Your Hand

I am insatiably curious and always keen to learn something new, but I find that I am surprised by the seemingly familiar more often than not. Case in point? The Palm restaurant in Philadelphia. This elegant steakhouse is tucked inside the landmark Hyatt at The Bellevue hotel. It exudes that classic steakhouse appeal – a dark wood bar, a buzzy “business is getting done here” ambience and professional male waiters sporting jackets.

Add a Splash of Art

There is a broad spectrum of colorful ways to integrate art into meetings and events this summer and beyond in Denver. Beginning May 27 and the rest of summer, the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver is staying open until 9 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Visitors can experience the museum for only $5 after 5 p.m.; enjoy the rooftop café and outdoor deck and garden; sample cocktails and foods from local purveyors on Wednesday nights; and enjoy live music in the rooftop garden on Friday nights.
