In our recently-released fall issue, don’t miss our destination feature about Glenwood Springs. My family has stayed in Glenwood Springs several times for corporate events, soccer games and getaways, so it is always exciting to hear about new things to enjoy. Since the story was written, I’ve received word about an exciting attraction on the horizon.

My favorite things about small group meetings are getting to know the others in attendance very quickly and enjoying unique activities that might not work for larger gatherings. Five journalists from around Colorado and the U.S. had the chance to explore Telluride recently, staying at Hotel Madeline in Mountain Village and dining at both on-site restaurants, SMAK Bar and REV.
November not only is a month to gather with family and friends for Thanksgiving, the meetings and events industry in Colorado has several opportunities for face-to-face time to help others and celebrate accomplishments. The Meetings Industry Council of Colorado’s annual Serving Up Hope luncheon on Nov. 5 raised $28,000 for Food Bank of the Rockies, and 26,634 pounds of food donated by MIC’s 13 member organizations. That is an increase of approximately $5,000 and more than 3,600 pounds of food from last year!
