Guests at the International Special Events Society (ISES) Denver Chapter’s annual Designer Showcase, held at the Studios at Overland Crossing in Denver on Feb. 16, admired four creative vignettes that honored Academy Award-winning films. One team used an all-time classic film as inspiration: The Wizard of Oz.
For engage14! Bachelor Gulch at The Ritz- Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, Denver-based Eclectic Hive collaborated with partners to create an eye-popping tipi village in the gondola and lawn area of this Beaver Creek property. The tipis were used for tent talks with guest speakers and as lounges for an evening party. Eclectic Hive outfitted the tipis with lounge furniture, but they can be outfitted to sleep four to six for retreats.

Location: Beautiful views don’t make this college town secluded. Greeley is located about an hour north of Denver International Airport and south of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Hosting an International Live Events Association Denver Chapter meeting in Colorado Springs, a longtime vision of board member Tami Forero, became a reality in November as more than 60 event pros gathered at the historic Colorado Springs School for drinks from Sovereignty Wines, dinner by Garden of the Gods Gourmet Catering & Events and a presentation about networking and building relationships.
Members of the National Association of Catering & Events Denver showed up in force to display their skill in milking a cow, tossing flapjacks and more during the return of Catering Olympics in November at Fashion Design Center in Denver. Colorado Teambuilding Events and Occasions Catering were the masterminds behind the games and cuisine.
