Colorado properties, suppliers, and meeting and event planners gather each year at Destination Colorado’s Front Range Trade Show, held this year on Dec. 1 at EXDO Event Center in Denver. The organization’s annual meeting and awards were held immediately before the show. 

A stunning amount of what’s new in Colorado.

The logical side of your brain is likely concluding that little has happened during the most challenging days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Launches of new additions, renovations and venues have been delayed a bit in some cases, but the amount of new hotels and fresh experiences is simply astonishing.

Denver Art Museum Introduces Reimagined Campus & New Meeting Space 

 

It was a treat to experience the new Meow Wolf Denver during a media preview event without all the crowds and to meet various artists and staff who made this third permanent exhibition from the U.S.-based arts and entertainment company a reality. Convergence Station opened to the public for quantum travel on Sept. 17, 2021 and held its first concert the following day.  

 

The fanfare surrounding completion of the Sheraton Denver Downtown’s $80 million, full-scale renovation may have been delayed due to COVID-19, but the VIP/media ribbon cutting and community unveiling event on Sept. 16 was done in true style. The porte-cochere and lobby were taken over for the event that featured live music, a sampling of local food and drink, and the chance to savor a cocktail in Bezel Denver, a swank new bar that hasn’t opened to the public quite yet.
