Members of the National Association of Catering & Events Denver showed up in force to display their skill in milking a cow, tossing flapjacks and more during the return of Catering Olympics in November at Fashion Design Center in Denver. Colorado Teambuilding Events and Occasions Catering were the masterminds behind the games and cuisine.

Anyone who has spent much time in the meetings and events industry knows that the people involved tend to be a social bunch. That’s especially true for the industry associations with chapters in Colorado. It was hard to keep these crews contained during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it’s nice to see association gatherings back in action, ranging from happy hours and education sessions to annual galas.

Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International – Southern Colorado Chapter held its annual summer fundraiser on July 17 at Colorado Springs Marriott. A beach party theme kept things lively, and members were encouraged to “flamingle” and bring guests of all ages. Funds raised benefitted CASA of the Pikes Peak Region.

Members of the National Association of Catering & Events Greater Denver Chapter pulled out the gym gear and dusted off their Nikes to take the field. The Denver Broncos’ UCHealth Training Center, a professional-grade facility, served as the backdrop for all sorts of fun and games.
