    Vista Verde Guest Ranch

Located at the base of the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness and the Continental Divide on 38 acres, Elk River Guest Ranch hosts up to 15 guests in the summer, fall and winter. Horses are the heart and soul of the ranch, while other ranch activities take advantage of the natural surroundings such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking and rafting right out the back door. Rates are all-inclusive in summer and can be lodging only during other seasons.

The Reception Center at Aspen Meadows Resort on the Aspen Institute campus not only has a new look, the iconic Bauhaus-style structure has a new name. The Walter Isaacson Center was unveiled in June 2018 after a 10-month, $13 million renovation. The original Reception Center, designed by Herbert Bayer and opened in 1958, is now dedicated to Walter Isaacson, who served as president and CEO of the Aspen Institute from 2003 to 2018.

 

INGREDIENTS
—5 oz. Crawdaddy’s Cold Brew Coffee
—1 oz. sweetened condensed milk
—1.5 oz. bourbon
—dash orange bitters
—orange peel 

DIRECTIONS
Add cold brew, sweetened condensed milk and bourbon to a Collins glass. Stir until sweetened condensed milk is incorporated. Add crushed ice. Dash bitters on top and garnish with orange peel.
