On Nov. 1, global hospitality group, Benchmark added Manor Vail Lodge to its Colorado portfolio. Established in 1965 and situated at the base of Vail Mountain’s Golden Peak, its location offers picturesque views, yet is within walking distance from the ski slopes, shops and restaurants, giving guests the perfect mix of fun and relaxation.

“Guests of Manor Vail Lodge can choose from a variety of room types including studio, one, two and three condominiums as well as luxury penthouses. All units differ in style and décor, making each condominium truly one-of-a-kind. Manor Vail Lodge is the only hotel in Vail with two outdoor heated swimming pools and four hot tubs,” says Nicole Martin, director of marketing, Manor Vail Lodge.

With more than 25,000 square feet of meetings and events space and the flexibility of being held indoors or outdoors, Manor Vail Lodge has designed its meeting spaces to suit the needs of various events. With visual and audio equipment available and a comfortable atmosphere inspired by Manor Vail Lodge’s surrounding mountains, meetings will feel less like work and more like a luxurious getaway.

“Manor Vail Lodge offers two dining options in the winter that include The Fitz Bar & Restaurant. The Fitz Bar is an inviting atmosphere where guests can cozy up by the crackling fireplace and enjoy local cuisine and artfully crafted cocktails. The Fitz Restaurant, open in the winter only offers guests a luxurious fine dining experience with floor to ceiling windows that look out on to Vail Mountains Golden Peak. During the summer months, guests can enjoy the outdoor patio that overlooks the Gore Creek and the Manor Vail Lodge covered bridge. Manor Vail Lodge offers daily guest breakfast and in-house catering services [too],” says Martin.

In addition, Manor Vail Lodge is well-equipped with all sorts of activities available to guests; snowboarding, dogsled rides, ice skating, zip-lining and goat yoga just to name a few. Also accessible to guests is the Manor Vail Spa, a certified Green Spa that focuses on health and wellness, mixing traditional and advanced therapies using organic products and tailoring treatments based on the individual’s needs.

“The guests of Manor Vail Lodge can relax with the comforts of home while enjoying all the amenities of a full-service hotel in the heart of the world-class destination of Vail, Colorado. Manor Vail Lodge is an all-season destination with convenient access to skiing, Vail Village, Ford Amphitheater, and all of Vail's top-rated attractions,” says Martin.

Due to COVID-19, non-essential travel was, or has been, banned for months. Long anticipated trips and in-person gatherings were canceled and people have adjusted to the new normal: staying at home and meeting over Zoom. However, states have been slowly lifting restrictions, and non-essential travel will soon be happening across the country again. However, some may not be as comfortable with the thought of traveling as they were before the pandemic.

Although several cities are opening up again, many offices are still enforcing work from home policies. As they did when Stay at Home first began, plenty of organizations are still offering webinars with insights on how to tackle the new normal. Gaining new knowledge is a great way to use extra time that might have been spent on a commute.

Here at M+E, we’ll keep the following list updated, as some webinars are live and some are pre-recorded. Please email lauren.pahmeier@tigeroak.com to add more applicable webinars to the list.

As the spread of the novel coronavirus continues to put immense pressure on the U.S. health care system and the people who keep it running, the American Hotel and Lodging Association is working to connect hotels with health workers who are struggling to find housing.
