ALHI Hosts 12th Annual Executive Women in Leadership Conference

From June 8-10, Associated Luxury Hotels International held its 12th Annual Executive Women in Leadership Conference at Hotel del Coronado in San Diego/Coronado California. ALHI is a leading independent Global Sales Organization in the Meetings & Incentive industry, from which they hosted 65 senior level women executives in the meetings and hospitalities industries. These women included hotel executives and meeting professionals.

Cherry Creek North on the Move

Continuing my tour of new Denver hotels, I had the good fortune of visiting Cherry Creek North’s Halycon, which opened in August 2016 and was the first new lodging property in this hip, high-end district to open in a decade, with more coming online in the near future.

Grand Hyatt New York Debuts Renovated Conference-Level Inspired by Grand Central Terminal

The iconic Grand Hyatt New York in Midtown Manhattan recently debuted a multimillion dollar renovation of its conference level, including 12,000 square feet of meeting space and 18 breakout rooms. Designed by New York City-based interior design and architecture firm Nemaworkshop, the new design reflects the energy of the adjacent Grand Central Terminal and the New York City skyline.

El San Juan Hotel & Casino to Undergo Multimillion Renovation

On Aug. 15, 2016, The El San Juan Hotel & Casino will temporarily close to undergo a multimillion dollar renovation; the changes are set for an end date of early 2017. Guest rooms, pool area, meeting and entertainment spaces, food and beverage venues and spa and fitness facilities will all be renovated.

New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge Reveals $45 Million Renovation

After more than a year, the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge announced the unveiling of its $45 million transformation, ending a three-phase renovation.

The third phase focused on renovating the 667 guestrooms to mimic the Brooklyn lifestyle, with urban-inspired color pallets, fabrics that emulate the culture and landmarks, and an art piece that zooms in on a piece of a mural that is located in the lobby.

New Venue Spotlight: The Wild Game

There is a new option for meetings and special events in Evergreen, approximately 25 minutes from downtown Denver. Evergreen residents Dave Wilson and Sean Lynch redeveloped the former BMC West property into the Evergreen Mercantile Building and also developed The Wild Game with six meeting and entertainment spaces encompassing 24,500 square feet.

Soon the scenery around Seven Springs Mountain Resort will be ablaze with fall foliage providing the perfect backdrop for a teambuilding event at the resort. Seven Springs is about an hour southeast of Pittsburgh and offers a peaceful mountain setting for meetings and teambuilding opportunities, which are great for staff, classmates or friends of all courage levels.
