Anyone who has spent much time in the meetings and events industry knows that the people involved tend to be a social bunch. That’s especially true for the industry associations with chapters in Colorado. It was hard to keep these crews contained during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it’s nice to see association gatherings back in action, ranging from happy hours and education sessions to annual galas.
Recently, I wrote about examples of two lodging properties’ impactful ways to give back. Colorado’s meeting and event industry associations also are champions of good causes, including the National Association of Catering and Events - Greater Denver Chapter’s first-ever Bunks to Backpacks on Aug. 8 at Four Mile Historic Park from 4 – 9 p.m.
Members of the National Association of Catering & Events Denver showed up in force to display their skill in milking a cow, tossing flapjacks and more during the return of Catering Olympics in November at Fashion Design Center in Denver. Colorado Teambuilding Events and Occasions Catering were the masterminds behind the games and cuisine.
