Two of Glenwood Springs’ most iconic properties will be under the same ownership again after a 70-year hiatus if a purchase agreement goes through as planned in early 2017. Walter Devereux opened Glenwood Hot Springs in 1888, followed by Hotel Colorado across the street in 1893.

What happens when a company outgrows its trendy downtown office space in LoDo on Blake Street and faces a booming Denver real estate market? Unbridled Solutions LLC, an event management, production and creative agency headquartered in Denver and with offices in Boston, San Diego and Grand Rapids, bought the 16,000-squarefoot Grant Street Mansion in 2014 and relocated its growing family of businesses to the historic landmark in May 2016. The property has 36 rooms and 14 fireplaces and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
Opened earlier this year in a restored industrial warehouse in Denver’s River North Arts District (RiNo), Nocturne is a modern take on jazz and supper clubs of the mid-20th century. Nightly live jazz, including regular performances by nationally touring jazz artists, and a menu that features “Standards” like cubano sliders and boardwalk frites and constantly changing “Renditions,” which are tastings inspired by iconic and historical jazz recordings, are part of the theme.
