• Notable and Unique Golf Options for Groups

    FROM THE Fall 2018 ISSUE

Colorado has nearly 300 golf courses for groups to choose from, each offering its own special variation of elevation, climate, vegetation and wildlife. Here are some notable and unique options from across the state.

Colorado welcomed its first groundup golf course development in nearly 10 years this summer with the opening of TPC Colorado in Berthoud. The 18-hole championship course was designed to accommodate professional tournaments and has a well-appointed clubhouse.

For a European-style experience, golfers will love Ballyneal Golf Club, a private golf destination in Holyoke built on a unique sand dune formation in the high plains of eastern Colorado.

Groups can experience America’s highest elevation golf course at 10,152 feet in Leadville. Mount Massive Golf Course has nine holes surrounded by the highest mountains in the state and is near the headwaters of the Arkansas River Valley.

With 18 holes located at the base of Colorado National Monument, The Golf Club at Redlands Mesa offers desert-style golf with dramatic vistas, 11 elevated tees, 41 bunkers and unique hole-shaping.

So far, webcams and Zoom meetings have been an essential part of 2020. While digital options are functional placeholders for meetings, chatting with a coworker over Skype doesn’t always set up a team for success. Human connection is vital to team building, and hosting safe, small meetings is a great way to revitalize teams after months of working from home.
