The Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown To Undergo Renovations

In early 2017, the Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown will begin remodeling; it is expected to finish in early April. The multimillion-dollar revamp will include updates to the lobby and meeting spaces. The design will have a modern vintage feel while staying true to the rich history of the building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Denver Keeping it Fresh & New for Planners

Colorado is known as a state that stays in motion, not only in health and fitness but also for the meetings and events industry. After 12 years as editor, of Colorado Meetings + Events, I am no longer surprised at the state’s ingenuity but the amount of new venues, restaurants and hotels launching in the Denver metro area now and in the future has definitely caught my attention. Winter Is in the Air

All planners know the importance of looking ahead—the earlier the details fall into place, the less stress one has to deal with as the event nears.

A smattering of event venues have started holding receptions decorated for holiday parties to give planners an idea of what a holiday event would look like there and to have soirees booked far in advance. We know Christmas in July sounds crazy, but it really is a planner’s dream. With all the heat and sunshine, winter feels light-years away.
