The Aloft New Orleans Downtown has announced the launch of RoomCast, powered by Chromecast. The streaming system will allow guests to cast content from their devices to their television, all in the comfort and privacy of their own guest room.
Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation and the Steamboat Grand Hotel has hired Jennifer Shea as their new sales director. In her new role, Shea will create and implement strategies for local, regional and national channels for tour operators, wholesalers, travel agents, properties and campaigns. She will also be in charge of pricing and products, overseeing conference programs and managing the sales team.

1. What are you most looking forward to in your new role as program and event coordinator for Roberts Event Group?
The Crawford Hotel, located in the historical and recently renovated Denver Union Station, has expanded their tour program of the train station. The tour, previously offered biweekly, will now be offered weekly on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 1 p.m. The tour will feature Denver’s transportation, artwork, shops and restaurants located in the station, along with some of the unique rooms in the hotel.
For the next two years, Meeting Professionals International will provide meeting management services for the Southeast Education Conference. MPI is responsible for managing and developing the overall program for the 2017 and 2018 conference, which is hosted by SEC's four Florida chapters – Tampa Bay Area, Greater Orlando, North Florida and South Florida – known as TONS.
