• The Ritz-Carlton, Denver Announced Renovations

Denver’s longest running AAA Five-Diamond Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, will undergo renovations this month.. The remodel will include updates to the lobby and the 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space on the Plaza Level of the hotel. Renovations are slated to complete in mid-March.

The design of the hotel is inspired by Denver’s adventurous spirit and contemporary architecture, and will have a combination of rustic and contemporary aesthetics. The hotel will use neutral champagne tones with contrasting pops of color, including deep blue, purple, gold and white.

The plaza level of the hotel will have updates to the two ballrooms, six meeting rooms, grand staircase and all pre-function corridors. These areas will feature artwork from local artists, updated lighting and new furniture.

The lobby will include a cozy lounge area for guests with local artwork. Updates will include updated lighting and upholstery, new wall coverings, and modern décor.

Due to COVID-19, non-essential travel was, or has been, banned for months. Long anticipated trips and in-person gatherings were canceled and people have adjusted to the new normal: staying at home and meeting over Zoom. However, states have been slowly lifting restrictions, and non-essential travel will soon be happening across the country again. However, some may not be as comfortable with the thought of traveling as they were before the pandemic.  

 

Although several cities are opening up again, many offices are still enforcing work from home policies. As they did when Stay at Home first began, plenty of organizations are still offering webinars with insights on how to tackle the new normal. Gaining new knowledge is a great way to use extra time that might have been spent on a commute.
