Are Meetings Going to Pot?
The best in brews, food, parks, summer activities and more, as told by Colorado's most knowledgeable insiders.
Telluride rivals and perhaps exceeds any mountain town in Colorado in terms of number of major festivals. Telluride Bluegrass, Film, Mushroom, Yoga, Wine, Blues & Brews and Balloon Festivals are just the tip of the event iceberg. Plus, there is amazing scenery, outdoor activities galore, and ramped-up air service this winter connecting Montrose Regional Airport, which serves Telluride with nonstop flights from 10 metropolitan airports and nine major U.S. hubs.
My favorite things about small group meetings are getting to know the others in attendance very quickly and enjoying unique activities that might not work for larger gatherings. Five journalists from around Colorado and the U.S. had the chance to explore Telluride recently, staying at Hotel Madeline in Mountain Village and dining at both on-site restaurants, SMAK Bar and REV.
