Tru by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton have joined forces at their new dual-branded property in Downtown Denver. Tru by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center and Home2 Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center opened November 1 with creative packages and incentives for visitors and locals alike. Located at 801 15th Street,

the 22-story hotel offers 382 rooms and 3,300 square feet of meeting space with unmatched Rocky Mountain views.

The shared lobby perfectly marries the aesthetics of Home2 Suites and Tru by providing a welcoming and bright environment for a variety of guests. Amenities for the dual-branded hotel include complimentary breakfast, valet parking, grab-and-go market, five-story parking garage and the lobby’s street-level Tempo Bar restaurant. An amenity in itself, Home2/Tru is conveniently located near hot spots like Colorado Convention Center, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Pepsi Center and 16th Street Mall.

“We are incredibly honored to join the Tru by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton brands and introduce travelers to this contemporary type of lodging,” says Scott Perry, dual general manager. “Our ideal location, unique set of offerings and affordable price make us a top choice for guests visiting the Denver area.”

Hilton’s Home2/Tru is owned and managed by Stonebridge Companies, which is headquartered in Denver. This concept marks the first Tru by Hilton property within the Stonebridge Companies portfolio which now incorporates 23 of the city’s metro properties in total.

For meetings and events, the new dual-branded location is offering a couple packages you won’t want to miss.

Board Room to Shuffle Board

Utilizing the lobby’s playful space, ‘Board Room to Shuffleboard’ is the ideal package for groups who enjoy a little friendly competition. Home2/Tru will create tournament shuffleboard brackets while the group enjoys food and drinks from the Tempo Bar and an MC who knows the low-down on the shuffleboard rules.

Brainstorm with Brain Food

Groups will have the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of their labor by creating cocktails and grub alongside the Tempo Bar’s chef and bartender. This flexible activation is ideal for meetings and events and can easily utilize the prized open space between Home2/Tru’s meeting rooms. Attendees will be able to take home their creations and bottled cocktail for later.

Daily life has been significantly altered by COVID-19, no matter the industry. Many are working from home, while children stay inside for online schooling. Meetings and events have been hit especially hard, since the essence of the industry is face-to-face interactions. While we continue to self-isolate, plenty of organizations have been offering webinars with insights on how to handle the pandemic—watching webinars is a great way to use that extra time you might have used for your commute to learn something useful.

As the spread of the novel coronavirus continues to put immense pressure on the U.S. health care system and the people who keep it running, the American Hotel and Lodging Association is working to connect hotels with health workers who are struggling to find housing.

With the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, most people are working from home. Many are social distancing or quarantining with their children, who have transitioned to online classes. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops, offices, stores and so much more have been temporarily shut down in many states, affecting daily life in the most unexpected of ways.
